God Bless Our Bear

Bear has single handedly chased a Black Bear off the property and this very intelligent Beagle refused to come in one night until I went out to find her...only to find that the horses were out. Once I brought the horses in, she came right in. If not for her, I wouldn't have known. She is a most intelligent Beagle and very valuable to me.

Beryl lived with me for 14 years and was a big help with the horses, our friend, and our protector. Beryl was enjoying a hot day at Lake Superior in the photo.
