Fall Colors Are HereWell, it is Fall here in Northern Wi.
The
months of August and September have been quiet with new horses settling in and I do believe the new mares are pregnant.
We are waiting for the vet to confirm that news. Have a Great Fall!

Bitter-Sweet JulyWell, the month of July was bitter-sweet. We worked very
hard to coordinate getting our two mares here from North Dakota. In the meantime we had the opportunity to add two geldings,
one being my husbands first horse. My older beagle,
"The Bear of Bear Chase Ranch" was slowly loosing strength and could no longer walk, but when we spoke of
getting the mares in North Dakota, she really wanted to go. We loaded up the four dogs including Bear for the trip.
Bear did very well on the trip and was very happy at the rest stops and seemed excited about the trip. 3 days after
we returned, Bear died. It was her last trip and her last job to get her mares home for her Ranch. She was such
a big help with the horses in her life and enjoyed many trips. I will miss her.
