© Bear Chase Ranch 2012 September 27th 2011 to October 3 2011 Halim Kamaal SIBA Straight Egyptian Colt Our beautiful colt Halim was born on September 27.  Sire:  Ibn Amar Halima Dam:  Bint Kamaal.  I had to get the vet out to tranqalize Bint to get her to nurse little Halim.  She must have been painful on her sides after giving birth.  We drew blood for an IgG test, but the vet doesn’t do the test inhouse so it got hung up in the mail.  Halim died before the test came back showing that he had Partial Passive transfer failure.  His IgG reading was only 268 and should have been over 800.  He was beautiful and so smart.  His delightful whinny and loving nature will be terribly missed.  Rest Peacefully my precious.
